Title: Living In Harmony with Urban Wildlife
Wildlife of all description including coyotes, bears, deer & moose, raccoons, skunks, squirrels, bobcats, raptors and other animals have come to occupy our towns and cities. Consequently, human-wildlife conflicts have become more common as urban development expands into natural habitats. The most effective and humane way of dealing with wildlife issues is to prevent the conflicts from happening beforehand. So then, how do we live with God’s creatures without expecting the Conservation Authority to be perpetually translocating troublesome wildlife? What do you do when a bobcat lives on your roof, or a skunk dens under your deck? Is it wise to let your dog chase after moose along the greenways? The team at Calgary Wildlife will be on hand to answer your questions and speak about the important work Calgary Wildlife does for the community and the wild animals with which we share our living spaces.
